I am unable to come to Pretoria.  Could the books be dispatched by post?

Yes, of course.  For deliveries in South Africa a charge of R60 is asked, regardless of the worth of the consignment.

Alternatively, by courier (R110): your street address is required. 
Please contact us regarding deliveries elsewhere before placing an order.

How long for an order from a South African publisher?

It varies. Books ordered from one of the major publishing houses are delivered within days.

How long for an order from America or Germany?

An order could take two weeks per air mail, with surface mail two months.

Can I pay with debit or credit card?

We accept only cash, cheques or electronic transfers.  Click here for banking details.

Could you assist me with second hand books?

All our books are new.

Can I have books printed by Hutten Buchdienst?

No, we are a bookdealer, not a printer.

I have ordered a book at Hutten Buchdienst, but the book is damaged and/or wrongly bound.  Can I get a new book?

Yes, we will exchange the book, depending on availability.
